The Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier - For Family Fun & Relaxation

The Bogue Inlet fishing pier in Emerald Isle is one hundred percent a great place for anybody. If you just going for a relaxing time you can grab a beer from the bar at the pier and go fishing all day, or you can bring the whole family. It truly is a beautiful site and very relaxing in all aspects. It's run by some great management and friendly people and you will assuredly enjoy your visit!

We would like to invite you to our LITTLE OASIS-BY-THE-SEA! .............. If you are visiting EMERALD ISLE, NC for the first time, you will love it! Bogue Inlet Pier is newly rebuilt from Hurricane Irene  and we are catch fishing! The pier has been reconfigured to be Spanish Mackerel friendly on the end, in addition to allowing for an equal KING MACKEREL fishing area! We have an OBSERVATION DECK at the end of the pier where spectators can watch all of the action with a Bird's Eye View! As always, there is NO CHARGE for SPECTATORS and we have plenty of Beach Parking!

Now that the pier is repaired, our next project is the restaurant It is currently closed and renovations will begin shortl. Our goal is to have an open-air breakfast-lunch type grill with an Eastern NC Tropical atmosphere! Stay Tuned!

So break out the BEACH CHAIRS and lube up the FISHING GEAR and head to EMERALD ISLE ............ NOTHING COULD BE FINER!

Topsail Island's first ocean pier, the Surf City Pier, was originally built in 1948. It has been owned and operated by the Lore family since 1973. Though it has weathered many storms (some better than others), Hurricane Fran destroyed it in 1996. It was totally rebuilt and reopened in August of 1997, looking much like it does today including a few additions. The Surf City Pier comes complete with large assortment of bait, fully stocked tackle shop, an eclectic collection of souvenirs fresh ground chuck burger's from the grill, and a screened in dining area.
