Blueberries at Southwest Strawberry Farm In Jacksonville North Carolina

You've been to the beach, you've been to the mall, you've been to the movies: Now it's time to come to Southwest Strawberry Farm! Our blueberries have just arrived and they are just waiting to be picked. We also have fresh-picked blueberries every morning, if picking isn't quite your thing.

We never use pesticides! We believe in growing healthful pesticide free produce for our community members.

And in addition to blueberries, we have watermelons, cantaloupes, cucumbers, potatoes, tomatoes, jalapenos, sweet white corn, and banana peppers! If you need it, we have it :)

Our hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 9-5pm.
We are located in southwest Jacksonville, NC at 2053 Pony Farm Road right off of Highway 53 - Just minutes from the new Walmart.

Lynwood Park Zoo

Lynnwood Park Zoo is built on a 10 acre parcel and has a 1/2 acre pond next to the picnic area.

The zoo was established in 1990.  We have been the only animal exhibiting facility in Onslow County and the Camp Lejeune area.

The zoo displays over 80 animal exhibits, with many different species ranging from reptiles, birds, mammals, and many, many more.  Following are some of the exhibits:
 

MAMMALS:
Zebra, Wallaby, Ocelot, Grey Fox, Antelope, Coatimundis, Mara, Pigmy Goats, Donkey, Scottish Highland Cows, Llama, Potbellied Pig, Serval cat, Arctic Fox, Barbary Sheep, Four Hourned Sheep, Capybara, Mara, Skunk, Red Fox, Welsh Mountain Sheep, and more....
 
REPTILES:
American Alligator, Burmese Python, Corn Snake, King Snake, Rat Snake, Eastern Box Turtle, Savannah Monitor, Blue Tongued Skink, and more....
